Looking for internship
Embedded & IoT Developer
Studying Embedded IoT at STI Stockholm. Tinkering with ESP32s and MQTT-driven home automation. I like deploying open-source projects and homegrown apps on cloud and home servers — and keeping it all running.
About
I like the idea of building something from scratch — taking a thought and making it physical. Embedded and IoT is exactly that: creating things that actually do something.
I'm currently studying Embedded Systems Development (IoT) at STI. Before that, I spent 6 years as a fullstack developer. Now I want to go further down the stack — closer to the hardware.
At home I build ESP32 controllers, MQTT flows and server setups — all from scratch.
Projects
ESP32-C3 display showing SL departures from your stop. Configurable via Node-RED — set routes, foresight time, and direction. No wonky SL-app needed.
ESP32 bridge between MQTT and Philips Hue API v1. Wireless light control with a simple protocol that can be expanded for more lamps and scenes.
MQTT client for ESP32 built with ESP-IDF. Subscribes to topics and controls GPIO. A modular base to extend.
Docker Compose setup for a Mosquitto MQTT broker. Simple and stable foundation for all experiments in the home lab.
Node-RED in Docker with basic flows. Visually wires MQTT events with the smart home.
